***Alan and contributors Anthony Castellano of Newsday’s “Steel Cage” blog, Jim Varsallone of the Miami Herald and Wrestle Talk Radio’s Mase broke down and analyzed this Sunday’s Hardcore Justice PPV including what matches they wished Tommy Dreamer had booked, missing Paul Heyman & Joey Styles plus the “Whole F’N show” Spike TV special this Thursday.
***Wrestle Talk Radio’s Spug joined the program to be part of interviewing the one and only Steve Corino!! Nothing was off limits from callers and the interactive chat room as Mr. Corino covered Phillies baseball, “the List”, his thoughts on the 4th version of the ECW revival & memories of working in the promotion, his current work with ROH, World-1, TWA, Brew City Wrestling and other promotions. We were treated to a CW Anderson story that must be heard, a breakdown of a legendary match with Shinya Hashimoto and a phone call from Steve’s biggest fan; his mother. ***Alan and international contributors from Wrestle Talk Radio’s Sunday night show Spug & Mase broke down and analyzed this Sunday’s Hardcore Justice PPV, what matches they would like Tommy Dreamer to book, Samoa Joe’s suspension, the “Whole F’N show” Spike TV special. The interactive chat also joined in talking about Monday Night RAW and Friday Night Smackdown as WWE heads to Summerslam 2010 in Los Angeles.
***Online World of Wrestling was honored to have Mark Jindrak AKA MARCO CORLEONE to discuss the new Lucha Libre USA: Masked Warriors program currently featured on MTV2 and Tr3s. If you missed Tuesday July 27th edition of the Online World of Wrestling Radio with host Alan Wojcik, here are the highlights:
***Alan had the honor of being joined by former WCW/TNA announcer SCOTT HUDSON who talked about the WWE “banning” gloves on their talent, the upcoming Nexus vs. RAW Superstars match at Summerslam, the WWE writers who did a panel at Comic-Con, Triple H’s possible role as Nexus leader and how he feels the RAW anonymous GM angle is getting over with the fans.
***Alan and Scott were joined by Wrestle Talk Radio’s MASE to break down last week’s TNA iMPACT show, the upcoming Hardcore Justice: the Last Stand PPV including if Mike Tenay should step aside one night only, matches they would like to see on the PPV, rumors involving reduction of PPV’s being put on by the promotion and a possible head to head PPV with WWE in 2011.
***The program was honored to have former Backseat Boy and current Vanilla Man Candy tag team star “MR. GAY PHILADELPHIA” JOHNNY KASHMERE on the program. ***Alan paid tribute to NY Yankees owner George Steinbrenner, PA announcer Bob Sheppard and pop culture icon Harvey Pekar. He also sent best wishes to legendary superstars Bobby Eaton and “Superstar” Billy Graham who are battling health issues.
***Kevin Scott of Under the Ring joined the program to recap TNA’s Victory Road PPV, the rumblings about Paul Heyman and the former ECW faction appearances on Impact, information about recently released PPV buy numbers and Dixie Carter’s talent meeting.
