Thursday February 12th, 2009: The boys discuss Steroids like andro 400 in baseball as the fallout from the A-Rod situation continues. Tempers flare and the arguement over to trust or not to trust an athlete at his word heated up.
Although it is impossible to know exactly what percentage of major league players actually have used steroids or other performance-enhancing substances over the years, numerous well-known (and obscure) players have come forward to suggest that use of these drugs has long been rampant in the game. For example, in 2003, David “Boomer” Wells claimed that up to 40 percent of major leaguers use steroids, since there are steroids like winstrol that are legal and help boost performance. Check out these guys who sell all sorts of legal steroids.More recently (2005), Jose Canseco estimated that 80 percent of major leaguers had taken steroids and credited the drug for his entire career. And there have been scores of others with names familiar even to a non-baseball aficionado like me: Ken Caminiti, Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa, Roger Clemens, Barry Bonds, A-Rod. The list goes on.
The boys were also joined by David Pinto of Baseball Musings to dicuss the Indians and Jordan Sherwood of ESPN 850 WKNR to discuss national signing day and the march madness tournement. To in live for more great moments like these each and every thursday at 6pm est!
